AudioVoiceAds from NetAudioAds
Mike Fortune
It was hyped to launch in February 2008. It was Audio Voice Ads by NetAudioAds and Key2Page. February came and went but at time of writing NetAudioAds are still in Beta phase playing only 100,000 ads per day. They have the ability to play ads on over 35 million websites which is an incredible reach on todays Internet. They have been so popular with affiliates signing up to make big money, they have insufficient adds to meet demand, so they have changed focus to selling ads. And this has opened up a whole new opportunity for some of the 35,000 affilliates they have recruited.
NetAudioAds and Key2Page together have devised a fantastic program for affiliates to sign up and sell audiovoice ads. They can sell audiovoiceads via the Internet using conventional Internet Marketing methods, or by getting out in the streets, and knocking on doors of local businesses, or picking up the phone and making appointments. The yellow pages has never looked so attractive as it is a goldmine of local prospects and every city in the world is a potential target.
Sales agents have to apply to become accredited by the company and then become self employed agaents, responsible for their own tax and can run their business as they want. There are a few restrictions laid down by NetAudioAds and Key2Page on things like Ad pricing, and the size of clients the agents approach. Ad prices are set and agents are not allowed to price cut. NetAudioAds ask agents to focus their attention on selling ads to small and medium sized businesses, leaving the big players like Coca Cola for example, to them.
NetAudioAds have only very recently announced a new innovation called Key2Click. This can be compared to an adsense click where an audio ad plays on a web site, and during the message it might say 'press 2 for more details'. So if the person viewing the website hits the 2 key it would open a new window showing the advertisers website. The would be the equivalent of a click for which the publisher gets paid. So the publisher who played the ad on his site gets firstly paid for plaing the ad, and secondly paid for getting the click, or press on the 2 key.
So although it is very early days with AudioVoiceAds by NetAudioAds and Key2Page, the future looks very very bright. With the gradual demise of conventional media advertising such as TV, Radio and Press, audiovoiceads show huge growth potential. I am very excited to be part of this phenonemon and have signed up as both an affiliate publisher, and a ad sales agent.
